HOMAG Group members unveil major GLT project in North America
HOMAG Group members System TM, Kallesoe Machinery and Stiles Machinery are pleased to announce that Rosboro – North America’s largest producer of glued-laminated timber (GLT) – has chosen this HOMAG Team of sister companies to deliver a state-of-the-art mass timber solutions for their GLT Factory in Springfield, Oregon, USA.
Brian Wells, Senior Vice President of Strategic Development of Rosboro, says about their new investment: “The distributors who carry Rosboro’s flagship X-Beam© stock glulam and other Rosboro Engineered Wood Products are the premier EWP distributors in their markets. They rely on us to supply a steady stream of high-quality, cost-effective framing solutions. We are making this investment to ensure that our partners can continue to grow their successful X-Beam programs for many years to come.”
The GLT factory will utilize our high-efficiency System TM feeding and finger-jointing line that is seamlessly integrated with two Kallesoe high-efficiency Radio-Frequency GLT press lines. HOMAG Group is excited to partner with Rosboro and work together to grow the North American Mass Timber industry.
We are honored to have received this order from Rosboro along with our partners at HOMAG and are eager to get started on this project.
System TM’s contribution to this cutting-edge manufacturing facility features our Opti-Feed H-L horizontal finger-jointer for long length workpieces. The line is also equipped with our Opti-Feed automatic feeding system.
