The founder of System TM A/S the family Thøgersen has sold their shares to the HOMAG Group
By Jan Jensen Samuelsen
The company founders and current majority shareholders, Poul and Ingrid Thøgersen, have decided it’s time to exit and retire to bring the majority of the ownership to a new shareholder. Jan Jensen Samuelsen, CEO System TM: “It has been important, that the new shareholder believes in the business philosophy of System TM and support the positive development of the company further on. HOMAG is the ideal partner for System TM, because next to our existing business segments of cross-cutting and finger joining solutions, it will enable us to expand into the area of cross-laminated timber. We see a good growth potential in this business segment. We expect synergies in the technological field as well as in purchasing. The new setup for us is a logical step as we already cooperating with HOMAG in North America very successfully”.
Everybody at System TM very much appreciated working for the family Thøgersen from the beginning until today. The whole team is grateful for the company created over the years by the Thøgersen family, to become a leading global brand of cross cutting and finger jointing solutions- as well as creating a strong company culture and attractive workplace.
System TM will keep up all activities with the existing management team on board, at the location in Odder, Denmark.
We will serve our customers directly from Odder as of today. All existing sales and sales network worldwide will stay unchanged, continuing the growth strategy of System TM.
